I have been wanting to start painting again. I spend so many evening hours looking at screens. Doing something else would surely help relieve stress.
I want to get set up in my garage. It’s a nice open space, is away from my couch, and will eventually even have a sink. Since I already use the space for exercise, I didn’t want to clutter it up with a table, so I went looking for something mobile. I found just the thing!

It folds, so it can be put away, I have a clip-on lamp for plenty of light, and it even has a cup holder for my paint-water. Nice!
Now my big problem is I can’t decide what to paint. Mostly I’ve done cats and flowers. Will I stick with those subjects, or should I do other things? I was fairly paralyzed with indecision last night. Hopefully I can figure it out soon and get started.
Oh, that is inspiring indeed! Very cool setup!
My aide is getting into water painting, and she said, “Did you know that watercolor paper is different from regular paper?” I said that I would bring her a package. She said she just needed a piece, but I told her about my crazed “buy all the watercolor tablets because they’re on sale!” shopping day.
You’ve inspired me yet again, Brad.
Awesome! You could find a picture that you like and try to copy it. How about some sunsets, butterflies, birds, your photos from Maui….
Relax and have fun!
You could combine your two usual subjects. All you have to do is stage a photo of Bruno posing next to a vase of flowers…
