Three times in the last couple of weeks I’ve seen flying insects in my bathtub or shower. My internet searches identified them as termites. Yuck. More internet searching suggested that I call a professional. The words that convinced me said “…don’t panic, but call someone right away…” Heh.
My neighbor recently had treatment done, and I asked him if he liked his guy. He said he liked him very much and gave me his number. The guy came yesterday. Coincidentally, there was another termite in my tub. I put it in a sandwich bag so I could show him.
He inspected the attic and found three places with termite damage. He said he could spot treat, but he suggested tenting, in case there were hidden spots elsewhere. I think I’m going to tent. But first I need to find a hotel that allows cats.
Ugh. Ugh ugh ugh. I am so, so, so, so sorry. 🙁

Condolences. Sounds like our need the Property Brothers to help remediate this problem (Cite episodes of “Celebrity IOU” I have been addicted to recently). Hope you can get a speedy and reasonable solution.
