My staff got together for another boat ride night. We did one of these last year, and it was fun, so I was excited to go again this year.
It’s this place that rents a boat to you, and you drive it yourself for a couple of hours. The area you drive in is calm waters and has clear boundaries, so it’s easy. Still, I’m glad someone else was driving the boat I was in so I could just enjoy the view and the snacks. It was a beautiful evening, and great conversation.
What a great idea! When I was teaching in Baltimore City, we played volleyball on Fridays after school. It was so nice to spend time with and get to know people I didn’t teach with on my team.
That is so cool, and what a way to just relax with your team! (Aside from the fear. I would mask it well.) (and take lots of pills)
