I worked at school yesterday. My Brick device has worked well for day-to-day use, but I don’t think it’s going to work for Sundays. I’m too creative at using unblocked things for time wasting.
I did get my work done yesterday, but it took me a long time. Add to that the time change, and it was dark by the time I left school yesterday. The Early Dark is here.

I have been thinking more and more about my phone usage. I would really like to cut back. I’m not sure how best to do it. Maybe I only use a cell-connected watch when I’m at school? Maybe I get a phone that just does talk and text? I would love to get this monkey off my back, but I don’t know how. Can I check myself in to a detox center for phones?

The Alcotel flip phone has served me well for years now. While I could access the web and such through it, I choose not to. Only talk and text. Very inexpensive to purchase and maintain.
