Yesterday was voting day in many states. In California, there was only one thing on the ballot – a proposition. It’s interesting being in a state where the citizens can vote directly on issues.
Voting early by mail is really easy here, but I didn’t do it. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a procrastinator, or because I like voting in person. I voted at a park not far from my house.

On our way south for vacation this past week we were inundated with political ads for Virginia candidates. So glad that’s over, at least so TV watching is less frustrating for a while. (MD isn’t up for mid-term stuff this fall, so…) Congratulations to all the winners out there – now do your jobs!
