Happy Thanksgiving!
After a busy schedule at my teacher convention, it was wonderful to just sleep in and relax.
I did a some inspection of the outside garden to make sure the rain we had didn’t cause any problems for my succulents. (It didn’t) But I was more excited to see something in my indoor plants – my “Jus Adeline” African violet is blooming!
I got it about three months ago, based only on a description, since there was no picture. It’s a beautiful flower though. I took it outside to get a picture in sunlight. The petals sparkle! (That’s not a terribly unusual characteristic of African violet flowers, but I do like it a lot.)

Now that is an African Violet! Like a triple flower!
Happy Thanksgiving! What a lovely flower. 🙂
Enjoy the rest of your break!
