Last night we went to Lincoln for dinner, and my mom fell and broke her arm. We spent the evening at the hospital getting things sorted. Mom stayed over night. The orthopedist will have a look at her arm today to talk about how she’ll heal.
I am so thankful we were in Lincoln, where there are good hospitals. I am also thankful for the wonderful people at the hospital – especially Patty, the nurse. I am also thankful that her injuries weren’t worse than what they were. Thank you, God!
And thank you, readers, for your prayers that my mom’s recovery will be quick and trouble-free.
We spent the night in Seward and are heading back to Lincoln this morning.
Prayers ascend, indeed! Your Mom is tough and incredible, and I pray for strength for her in the healing time ahead. <3
I will be praying for her. So glad you were with her when she fell.
Prayers being lifted for a full, fast recovery.
Second fall I am aware of in a friend this season – but equally grateful that The Great Physician holds her in his loving arms. Prayers for comfort for her daily as she heals, too.
