We were at the hospital during the day yesterday. My mom is receiving good care from good people. Her arm will take a while to heal, so continued prayers will be great.
I’m reading the Silmarillion, and brought the book yesterday.
I’ve been making slow progress. There are a lot of place names and people names, and I’m having difficulty keeping track of them all. I hoping that as I go along, I’ll have an easier time. I’ve read about some of the stories inside, and I’m looking forward to reading them for myself.
Today I head back to LA. Here is my itinerary:

I am so glad that your mom has such skilled people looking out for her. It can’t be said enough times – she is so tough! She’s dealing with pain in an incredibly graceful manner.
I’m sorry that you’re leaving – you will be very missed. But, back to real life…. 🙂
