I should have done a mom update after talking with her on Wednesday night. She’s out of the hospital and beginning the healing process. She’s at a rehab facility right now, learning about exercises for her arm, and making sure the pain is managed.
The place she’s at is nice, and the help is great, but she of course misses being at home, so the stay may not be super long.
The therapists met with Mom and Beth and Brent yesterday to talk about the plan. It sounds like things are well in hand. What a blessing medical care and caregivers are!
As Beth likes to say, your Mom has a big village of people who love and care about her. You’re completely right – God bless the people who know their work and help others heal!
We are indeed blessed to live in a land with great physicians.
And I enjoyed the unintended pun about healing being well in HAND. Nicely done.
