I spent a little time in the garden yesterday. It felt good.
I hung my monkey tail cactus. I’ve seen pictures of mature specimens that have stems reaching several feet long. I wanted to give it room to grow.
While I was watering everything in the back yard, I saw my amaryllis plants both have long flower spikes. They’ll bloom soon. Yay! I decided I’d try putting them on the front porch so I can see their blooms each day. They’ll have less direct sunlight there, but I think they’ll be ok for as long as they’re blooming. I’ll move them to back yard again when they start growing leaves again.
Was that hook already there or did you put it there? Drilling into brick or concrete makes me nervous.
