Service Set

Our bulletins at church have had some reoccurring artwork on them during Lent. On the Palm Sunday bulletin, it was the same artist. They were both in my choir folder, because I hadn’t thrown them away. Maundy Thursday was the artist again. By now I expected to see a full set by Easter. I wasn’t disappointed:

I really like this art. I’m wondering if I could put the bulletins all together in the same frame or something. The artist’s name is Mark Jennings. Prints of his stuff is for sale too. I might look into it…

After Easter services were over yesterday, I dug into the recycle bin and took a bunch of bulletins. I’m thinking there may be some kind of art project my eighth grade homeroom could do with their first grade buddies. It’s such a pretty picture.

They are striking alright. I’ve no doubt you will come up with a unique and equally-beautiful art project for your student, using those covers. They also say “bulletin board background” to me for future years. Good catch…

…and Happy Easter, Brad! He is risen; He is risen indeed. Alleluia!

I was in a car all day and didn’t check in. Sorry about that.

That is a GREAT idea for those bulletins! They are truly lovely! They would make a cool banner, too. (I was highly distracted by the Easter bulletins at my Dad’s. Everyone – Jesus and the women – were just soooo pale.)
