Our school’s eighth grade trip to Washington DC and New York is starting today. Woo hoo!
We had a half day of school yesterday, but even with the extra time I was still there into the evening getting things ready for next week. Sixth and seventh grade will still be having History class next week, so I needed to prepare some work for them. I also had some printings and preparations for the eighth grade trip.
My preparations at home went late into the night. My new experiment is that I’m packing my recess hat from school. We’re outside a lot on this trip, and I need a hat with a brim that goes all the way around. My recess hat is just the thing. I got some plastic molds to protect it while it’s in my suitcase. We’ll see if they work.
