This is our last week of regular classes, and things are pretty busy. I am thankful that in spite of the busy-ness, things are going well. The eighth graders did a good job leading chapel yesterday, and I was proud of them. My record-keeping is pretty good. I’m getting a good amount of sleep.
I don’t have a picture of school to share, so I went back in my photo roll to see if there was anything interesting. There was! When I was at the store looking for pots, I also looked at everything else, and as I was smelling candles, I saw these:

Ha! I had seen a tomato-scented candle back in April. It’s funny to read that post, because it’s also about being busy at school and posting an old picture.
It’s also funny that tomato-scented candles seem to be a thing. These, again, did not smell like actual tomatoes. They smelled like tomato plants. Also, I don’t think it’s proper grammar to call a group of tomatoes a grove. Trees grow in groves, not plants. Or maybe that candle is named after a grove of trees where tomatoes also grow…
I am so glad that the school year is winding down well for you and your crew. Nice work with chapel, eighth grade!
I am struggling to remember what a tomato plant smells like. If memory serves (and that’s real iffy), it’s not a great smell? Like, a little sharp? Why would that be appealing?
