Yesterday, the rest of the school had Field Day, but the eighth graders had a pool party. It was held at the house of one of the eighth graders. The hosts were wonderful, and the house was beautiful, and the pool was refreshing.
The kids had a fun time, and so did I. I played billiards with some of them, I tried a VR game on an Oculus, and didn’t die immediately, so that was good. I went swimming. Whew! I slept well last night. I think the kids probably did too.
Wow!! That is not the school day that I was expecting – how delightful! That will make a very fun memory for you all. (Also -that house is awesome!)
