I had a wonderfully restful day yesterday. Church started an hour and a half later than usual, so I got to sleep in. It was delightful.
After a music-filled service, I went to my mom’s house and had eggs goldenrod. I ate a LOT of it. Mmm… I was so full… And then I napped. Hard. After such a full day yesterday, it felt good to relax.
Beth and I did a quick side adventure to a garage that someone was trying to empty out. They posted online that everything inside was free. There was a guy there who had loaded almost everything into his car already, but we got a peg board thingy for Harold and Beth’s garage.
By then it was dinner time, and we went to Raymono’s. The pizza was so cheesy.

When we got back, I was admiring some mallow flowers in Beth’s garden. Then I noticed they had seed pods. How excting! I took some.

Okay, SOMEbody’s gotta ask: what are eggs goldenrod? If they are that yummy, we all need her recipe,no? Let’s get to work on that, friend! 😉 Also, Beth’s flowers are lovely; hope they germinate well at your house when you plant them.
What a great day!
Carol, eggs goldenrod are like chipped beef on toast, but with hard-boiled eggs as the protein. 🙂
