Narita for Now

I’m writing this from the Narita airport. I’ll have to get the time difference figured out. I think by the time I’m taking off for Cebu, it will already be past midnight in LA, and maybe even morning in Nebraska.

My flight across the pacific went well. It really helped that Denis booked business class seats. It’s the kind with their own “room” around the seat. It was so comfortable. The seat even went almost flat.

It also came with lots of amenities. I had bourbon and short ribs. Mmm..

I was in an aisle AND a window. Best of both worlds! Here’s my photo essay of the flight. The first picture is the California coast, and the second picture is the coast of Japan.

Two nights in Cebu, and then it’ll be back to Japan for a few days. (I know… it’s weird… but it was cheaper this way.)

I’m glad your flight went well. International travel although exciting can be so frustrating and exhausting. Looking forward to reading about your adventures. Have a wonderful trip!

Way to go booking those seats, Denis! That’s like a little mini-vacation in the sky! I’m so glad that flight went well, and also that you could look out the window when needed. So good.

It’s 6 in the morning here and you have two hours to go until you land. Are you going to be (calculating)…. 13 hours ahead of us? Behind us? Are you traveling back in time?
