Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Square Neckline

I got my hair cut yesterday. It was a new woman. I think her name was Jerline. No, that doesn’t look right. I’ll have to look again next time I’m there. I really wanted to remember her name so I could give her credit for giving me a good haircut. She didn’t rush at all. The result is a smooth cut… no corners, lines, or jaggedy places.

It’s so funny that in my last haircut post I should say something about no one ever asking me what shape I want on my neck. Yesterday as she was finishing, the barber said, “What shape do you want it in back?” I was so surprised I could hardly answer. I said that I didn’t have a preference. She asked if I just wanted her to follow the natural shape. I said yes. The result was something sort of squarish. Interesting…

Thank you, Jerline! If, indeed, that is your name.

I like the “follow the natural shape” shape. It’s good, not forced. And, by the way, what a lovely curtain you have hanging in the background of your head shot!

I am apologizing now for not noticing your cool new haircut.

With all these shots of the back of your head and the one of just your eyes, I’m almost able to complete my 3-D model of you. Keep it up.
