Continued Danger at School

Yesterday in the middle of the day there was another piece of candy outside my classroom door. But I think the assassin is getting sloppy. This was too close to my door and could have been picked up by any of the kids. And it was at the wrong time of day- afternoon. I’m hungrier in the morning.

This time, the candy was a chewy Jolly Rancher. It was watermelon, so the assassin must’ve done his homework. Watermelon is my favorite Jolly Rancher flavor. Will he continue to tempt me with sweet, sweet candy? Will he use another tactic? I’ll need to keep on my guard.

The kids were asking me why I was taking pictures, so I had to tell them of the attempts on my life. One of them helpfully offered me a replica of non-poisonous candy.

WHAT??? You like watermelon flavor??? Who ARE you?!?! And, what have you done with my flesh and blood?

Oh, c’mon – you’ve got your suspect right there! I’d recognize the handwriting of a murderer anywhere. Don’t you see how he makes his lower-case ‘t’ just like a dagger. You’re so blind.
