I send links to myself in email so I can come back to them later. I was looking through my inbox and saw this one. It’s a page that tests your knowledge of the 50 states. You type them in one at a time, and try to do it in less than ten minutes. I remember missing two states the first time I did it a long time ago. I just tried again and missed one state. (Dang you, Utah!)

I had 3:15 remaining. I kept picturing the lower forty-eight and then I realized which two I was missing, but I got them in. And I was saying goodnight to the kids and watching the Os all at the same time!

Smarty pants …
Well, I seem to have a little time on my hands. I couldn’t spell Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and I completely forgot Maryland. How’s that for ironic?
First of all, I don’t like seeing the time tick away right above the states I enter. Too much pressure!!! Next, I managed to remember all but 2 of our fifty nifty states. Can anybody tell me what is memorable about New Hampshire and Vermont?
Hehe… I forgot New Jersey and Wisconsin the first time.
Did any of you learn the “Fifty Nifty States” song in 5th grade? I never did, and I feel that put me at a huge disadvantage. Jerome was able to name all 50 just by rattling off the song.
Yep, I learned “50 Nifty” in 4th grade. I had them all named (alphabetically, I might add) in under 2 1/2 minutes. I’m very lame, I know. I’m fairly certain it’s the only thing I remember from 4th grade.
