One of my regular internet link sites announced the release of a new version of the Bible… a Manga version. “Manga” is the name for Japanese comic book style drawings. It’s the New Testament only. The book contains the comic, then the “Today’s New International Version” of the New Testament. It’s so cool, I had to get it!

That’s just too bizarre for me to even come up with a clever comment…apparently we’re all having trouble, becasue it’s almost 2pm (CT) and I’m the first to admit it.
Really? Do the disciples do kung-fu? I’ll buy the book if they do.
It’s the actual story of the Bible. No Kung-Fu. But Jesus really looks rockin’! Paul is pretty tough-looking, too.
I always thought it was too good to be true that Jesus would say “Peace be with you” when he first appeared to the diciples … it makes much more sense that He would say, “By the way, I’m starving.” Rising from the dead has to work up one heck of an appetite I would think.
