Et Tu, Refrigerate?

About two weeks ago, I noticed huge chunks of ice hanging on to the ceiling of my refrigerator. I may be able to resist digging a deep-seated splinter out of my finger, but I can’t resist chipping away at ice.

Since the ice has been gone, there’s been water there. Lots and lots of water. It drips down all over my packages of food. It collects on the bottom of the fridge where I keep the jugs of milk so that they have wet yuckiness all over the bottom and I have to put the jug in the sink while I pour my cereal. It collects on plastic-wrapped items and dumps on me when I take them out.

I’m sick of it.

I’m trying to figure out what causes this, but in the meantime, I’m starting to save money toward a new refrigerator. It’s probably time anyway, but I was hoping to wait a little longer.

Stupid water, dripping all over the stupid place.

Yea. You need a new frige. Not that we’ll ever see a picture of it, since it’s in your kitchen and we’re still waiting for pictures of your kitchen…but yea, you need a new frige.

You’re a very leaky guy … why don’t you just wrap a huge diaper around your house & forget about it.

    (PS What’s in the pot?)

I think it’s your gasket. Or maybe an imp or one of the many other lesser demons. It could be one from Scandinavia. I hear they have a large pantheon that is attracted to light wieght, stylish furniture.

Try doing a full defrost – the vents that pump the cold air through may be blocked so you’re not getting enough cold, hence the dripping water!
    And be ready with towels!
