Happy Halloween!
Besides being Halloween, today is a little scary because it’s a chapel day and First Quarter grades are due. I had to stay after school yesterday until I got myself pulled together. But after school is my sleepy time. I had already had some coffee yesterday, so I didn’t know if that would do it for me. I decided to try a riskier option. A week or so ago I had stopped by a 7-11 to get some milk. While I was checking out I saw little bottles of energy drink behind the counter. I had seen a commercial for these. They were supposed to be better than caffeine because they didn’t make you crash a few hours later. I got one and was keeping it in my desk drawer at school. Yesterday at 3:30 I drank it.
It did seem to wake me up. I got my grades entered, then went home… then started to feel sleepy. I didn’t sleep because I had handbell practice. After practice, I worked on chapel some more and watched my Tuesday night TV.
So I guess the stuff worked, but it made me feel a little strange. They wouldn’t sell it if it wasn’t safe, right? The most uncomfortable sensation was that it felt like my eyeballs were trying to pop out of my head. Other than that, I was just a little jittery. But in spite of the strange potion I drank, I slept pretty well.
That’s right out of some comic book – or fairy tail. “Just drink the contents of this vial and you’ll be invincible!!” Any lost memories? lost time? I guess you won’t find out if you have super powers until a really awkward situation strikes. Let us know how it goes.
Boy you and Lloyd will drink anything!

It has it’s own Web site. I looked it up to see if it has guarana in it. I HATE guarana–it does funny things to me. It looks to me like the only stimulant is caffeine.
It doesn’t look any more dangerous than my coffee.
I think you’ll live!
Dang … too bad your eyeballs didn’t pop out of your head … that would have been great for today … especially if they were still attached & just dangling & bouncing on your face.
Regardless of it being Halloween – just think what a great post that would be!! I think you should drink more of that stuff, Brad! Don’t forget your camera! 😉
Tara’s first Halloween picture, 2007 is up…and a finger update. I’ll post a picture of Tim when he’s dressed up :)!

Tim’s on now…check him out!!
OK Karla… we want to see Anna!
Hee hee – your picture is a link to funny.
If I had more time in the morning, I’d totally load my posts with easter eggs! They’re so much fun.
I’m so glad you found that, too! Every time I played it I said, “I gotta call Brad. This is right up his alley.” I guess you did tell me about neatorama, huh?
Well, now I have to eat a little crow. I responded from work and couldn’t let your ‘fun’ load completely. I made the assumption that you were sending us here.

Warning, it’s pretty awful. Hilarious, but awful.
Lauren! What macabre! My tender eyes! I’m scarred for life!
HA! “They wouldn’t sell it if it wasn’t safe, right?” You were just WAITING for one of us to pounce on that one, weren’t you? Just loook over the pages of 4pt disclaimers that follow any ad for a new medication, zum Beispiel – the possible side effects of the cure are often worse than the illness it’s treating, IMHO. But noooooooo “they” would never sell anything that might, say, make a person’s eyebals pop right out of their head. That’s just silly…
Happy Halloween. Hope your energy drugs made it a fun one:)
