Yesterday was our designated “Family Photo Day”. We would all go to Valentino’s Pizza for their brunch buffet, then get our picture taken. Valentino’s was AWESOME! There was so much stuff, I couldn’t decide what to eat! I only took very small portions so I could sample a large variety of dishes. I loved it!
For the pictures we went to Portrait Innovations. It’s a really cool photography studio where they take a bunch of pictures, show them to you right away, then print them so you can take them with you. It’s also really affordable. Our session went pretty well. We got a great group shot. Brent and Sandra also did some family shots.
In the evening, I went to Brent and Sandra’s to hang out. We played a game called “Apples to Apples”. It was a lot of fun. I highly recommend it.
We like that game, too.
The pictures are always good there…you should get Brent to upload the pics from the CD so you can show everyone the big group shot. 😀
Now…let’s hope Tim’s pics (round two) are just as fabulous!
I’m still back on “A pizza place does Sunday brunch?!? What would the breakfast part of the menu look like, I wonder?”
Come to Nebraska and find out! The breakfast section is pretty tasty – scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast casserole, waffles, sausage…. what am I leaving out, Nebraskans?
Surely there must be a dish involving corn?
Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, tiny ham and cheese omlettes, fresh fruit, muffins, coffee cakes, and even tiny funnel cakes! Amazing…
So was there like a ba-zillion kinds of pizza for the lunch part?
BREAKFAST PIZZA! Says the mom of a Valentino’s pizza maker.
Fun & games & more fun … blah, blah, blah …
Honestly, can’t you stub your toe or something once in a while!
I agree Peggy. Save some fun for the rest of us. Your using up all the fun. No wonder my summer break is so boring. The Nebraskans are using up all the fun.
You should just come here next year with all the Baltimorians for July 4! YAY – a Bradland reunion (or would it just be a union, since we’ve never all gathered before?)!
The best thing about the Valentino’s buffet is that they have an Icee machine. I can easily slurp down the price of admission in tasty frozen goodness.
That’s pretty daring to eat pizza in white shirts and then go for photos. Did everyone bring their own bib?
Family games are great. Our big one that we play at Thanksgiving is Nertz. Devonna and her family are vicious Nertz players!!
I hate games.
Brad, I think we tried to play that game (Apples to Apples) at Megan’s and Moira’s apartment warming a few years ago – do you remember? Maybe you had too much wine that night OR was it the perfectly stale cheese balls that made you forget?
