Party: Take Two

Last night was the actual date of the graduation party I tried to attend on Sunday. It was at an old house that has been converted into a rental hall. It was really nice. It’s up on a hill and is surrounded by mature trees. The weather was perfect. And I don’t think there’s a nicer girl than Alexa in the class of 2009.

It’s been interesting to go to graduation parties again. It’s been several years since I was invited to one. The two I went to were very laid back and relaxing. I think I would even say they were fun.

Today we begin our after school meetings. I will hold the warm and happy thoughts of the parties in my heart as we sit all day long in hard chairs. It’s hard to go from standing all day to sitting all day.

I could tell it was the right day because I knew these people.

LOVE that tree! Was the interior of the house gutted to make a big hall, or did it just have big ol’ rooms?

It was not gutted, and actually the rooms were just kind of normal-sized. But the location was amazing. And they had a nice covered patio in the back.

I couldn’t stop looking at all the giant oak trees that surrounded the house. They were sentinel-like.

We should totally do one of those “murder” events at the manor!! That would be a nice faculty fellowship type of thing – ha!
