Fund Raiser

I got a parking ticket. In front of my own house. At 2:11am.

I wish I could challenge the ticket on the basis of silliness. I have to admit that my rear bumper was across the yellow marking on the curb. Technically I was out of bounds. But seriously? Is this ticket supposed to penalize me for crowding the busy 2900 block of Evergreen Avenue? At two in the morning?

Sheesh!

I’m sorry that you live in Crazy Town. Or maybe they put that curb marker up for your benefit: “Do not block the view of this beautiful yard.”

Good golly, Miss Molly! And would the yellow marker be there to, say, ensure that anyone needing to enter or egress from the bank parking lot would not have obstruction to that path…at 2:11 a.m….while they are robbing it??!!

Poor Bawlmer – so desperate for revenue we have to pick on poor impoverished Lutheran teachers and their long trucks…in the middle of the night…too “chicken” to do this in the daylight, I imagine…or we just employ vampire law enforcers…or…stop typing now, Carol…

What the what the?!?!?!? You should appeal it….honestly! Send in the picture…1st off the ‘yellow’ is not very prominent & 2nd much less than 1/2 your car is over so…..and remind them that you’re the one that whipped the city dump into shape… Apparently one city cop was really behind in his ticket quota for the week! Unbelievable!
