Faster Progress

Painting the grid for the drop ceiling WAS the thing that was holding everything up in my bathroom. Yesterday I got the light box hung and wired, and I installed the new ceiling light. I chose a small track light. I thought it would be brighter and the lights could be pointed in strategic directions.
The light is bright and warm.

After hanging the light, I put the ceiling tiles back in place. The ceiling is done! Completely done!
It looks so much nicer than the weird foam tiles that were there.

Next, I’ll be painting the walls, and deciding what kind of storage to add to the room. Will I use built-ins? Will I just find a chest of drawers that will work?

Wow! I love the finished shot! Those lights were the right choice, too. If you’re thinking about storage, how about a captain’s bed? You could store stuff in it and then relax on top and admire that ceiling. 😉

I 2nd that Wow! It looks super nice….I can’t believe what a difference painting the grid made!

This probably wouldn’t work in your bathroom, but I thought this was a cool storage unit.

I’ll “third” that “Wow!” and raise you one “Whoopee!!” Beautiful work, sir.

And again, your DIY show starts when?
