Chapel Baptism

One of my co-workers has had a baby. The baby’s name is Malakai. I think it’s a really cool name. The other really cool thing is that in chapel yesterday, Malakai was baptized. The pastor gave a great explanation of baptism for his message. And the school kids were really attentive for the baptism itself. Afterward, the pastor asked how many kids had never seen a baptism, and over half raised their hands. What a great witness Malakai gave yesterday, and he’s only two and half weeks old!

His godfather is holding him.

*sniff* That is just the coolest thing ever. Tell those parents that I think they are geniuses for doing it during chapel!

Wow, how do you follow up that chapel? What a great message for the kids. Welcome to God’s family, Malakai!

Awwww….what a fantastic experience for the kids! Kudos to that teacher for sharing this wonderful event with her students! I love how that one boy in the front row is straining his neck so he can see better. That is an EXCELLENT “back” shot by the way! === And I too love the name! My ex co-worker Connie is from Hawaii. Her son’s name is Keola (Kee-ol-a; short a sound). I love that name too!!
