I stopped by my house yesterday. Antonio and his crew continue to do great work. They’re painting now. The upstairs bathroom colors are quite different than I expected. Antonio asked me about them. He was wondering if I meant to use the same colors. I told him I did. He painted the door with the new color. It was WAY different than the old colors. I told him I was trying to match Sherwin Williams colors to the old Behr colors. He said he could get Behr. I’m so glad he said something! My bathroom colors will remain the same.

The door is supposed to be the same color as the lower part of the wall. Not even close.

I once again must say how happy I am with Antonio. I asked him for a card so I could share his info. Here it is:

Awesome wall work.

Another task I did yesterday was to look at some last unsalvageable things in the basement. Somehow they got left behind when everything was trashed. It was my last chance to rescue them if I wanted. It was harder than I thought. It’s especially hard to decide about things that I haven’t used in years, but MAY want to use again. My black light fixture, for instance. It’s really, really cool, but I haven’t used it in ten years.

I put it in the trash pile.

I love seeing the updates on the house – it’s so exciting! If I lived in Baltimore, Antonio would be on speed dial.

I’m sorry about the black light, but you made the right choice. 🙁

So did Antonio repaint the door a darker color? I think the color of the door in the picture looks fine….but I’m glad he’s making it the color you want.

And thanks for posting his card. I just may contact him about my kitchen.

With Antonio’s awesome work & now your excellent endorsement, he’ll be able to say:

THANK YOU for posting Antonio’s contact information. (Hoping my dear husband checks your blog and sees it but now will have it regardless.) We have that annoying gap in our kitchen ceiling drywall due to the overflowing condensate tray from the attic that has needed attention for ages already. This will definitely come in handy!

…and great news about the Behr paint. Yea, sameness!!
