Swatch Find

While sifting through the boxes of “Miscellaneous” and “Knick Knacks” in my basement, I came across a Swatch watch. I have owned many Swatch watches in my life. It started with one I stepped on while swimming in a lake. I liked the craziness of Swatches, and would buy one every one or two years.

Apparently, this is a Swatch I never wore. It’s all black, except for a small cutout between twelve and two o’clock. It looks like the colorful part under the cutout might move as time passes. Or maybe the cutout part moves. Whatever the case, this Swatch is completely unworn. I don’t know if I can say it’s in mint condition, because it hasn’t been in a container, but it is definitely unworn. Do you suppose it’s worth something?

It still has some kind of price tag on it.

The colorful part is behind the black part.

I love it! It looks like a party for your wrist. Are we too old for fun watches? These are all things I don’t know.

I remember one of our first visits to Baltimore to see Linda & Family, we went to the “Inner Harbor” and there was a “Swatch Watch” store…I was to trying to buy one for someone back in Nebraska, but of course, I don’t remember who. They were ALL very Unique…..Blessings on your weekend…..Do you have to work weekends? Love Always, Aunt Bev 🙂

How does it happen that you are old enough to have an “antique” watch amongst your possessions? I can understand why”antiques” such as we have such stuff.??

    Hi Brad,
Are you up for selling this? thanks!

Hi Kat. I have since moved to Hawaii, and some rash decisions were made about what things I should keep and what things I should donate. I’m not sure if I have this watch anymore. I’ll look in some boxes and email you one way or the other.

        thank you!
