There is a face in the wall right next to the light switch in the computer room at school. It doesn’t seem very happy. Maybe I should fix the mouth a little and make it smile.
I wonder what used to hang on two closely-spaced screws so close to the door and light switch. It seems like an accident waiting to happen: come in to the dark room, reach for the light switch, knock the thing off the wall and on to the floor. Maybe it did fall, and that’s why the wall face is making that dismayed expression.
Maybe some googly eyes would help…

Poor little face. It’s probably bewildered by the fast pace of technology.

Maybe it was a rechargeable flashlight that hung there before, next to the AC light switch and all, in case of emergency? Ironic but not outside the realm of possibility.
Other than that, be a true middle schooler and add glitter, ribbon, and yes – googly eyes – to what is already there. Make it the computer room mascot – name it “Boots” or “Tab” (see what I’m doing there?). If you really want to add personality, give it its own blog page while you’re at it!
