The Early Dark is here. Or maybe I should call it the Earlier Dark. It’s earlier than it used to be, but it’s still not freakishly early. Still, yesterday I left home in the dark and got back in the dark. I did at least have some daylight on my drive home.
On the plus side of things, I don’t have to worry about how raggedy my garden is, or much trash is blowing into my pond, because I can’t see them.
It was dark… almost… too dark.
Black as pitch with the thick darkness…
…darkness…
Is this some sort of dork inside joke?
Oh. A Literate Person inside joke. Excuse me while I go look at pictures of cats on the interwebs.
We did a reader’s theater in college on “The Tell-Tale Heart”. It’s a quote from the story that we used to repeat a lot for some reason.
Incidentally, I just read that story out loud to the seventh graders. They weren’t really in to it because they had seen a movie version the year before.
Boooooo. 🙁 I only have morning Dark – there is still sunlight at 6 here. You must get home crazy late!
