Last night my pastor and his family hosted an open house for a bunch of people from church and school. They have recently moved into a new house and it is beautiful! I had some great conversations at the party, but my biggest comments have to be about the food. The theme was dessert and candy. Mmm… I loved it!
They had a chocolate fountain. I don’t think I’ve eaten from a chocolate fountain. It was delicious! I dipped a marshmallow, a raspberry, and a crispy treat.

They also had a table spread with many tasty treats. I particularly liked a treat called “coconut nests”. They tasted very much like what my family calls Christmas candy. I had several of them.

How fun! That looks very delicious and very rich. Did they set out weird alternate things to try in the fountain? Shrimp? Pickles? Dry noodles for a crunchy treat?
