I went to see the final Hobbit movie yesterday morning. I was so excited! The earliest showing was at 9am. It was in IMAX. It would be more expensive, and it would be ear-damagingly loud, but I could overlook those things for the sake of an earlier showtime.
When I got to the theater, I found out the IMAX show was in 3D. D’oh! That’s a deal-breaker for me. I dislike 3D so much that if it were the only way I could watch the Hobbit, I would not watch it at all.
I bought a ticket for a non-3D showing at 10am, and hung out in the car until I could go in.
I won’t say anything about the movie itself so I don’t inadvertently give any spoilers.
I don’t care about spoilers – give it to me straight: Does the hobbit die?
😉
I guess it’s not a spoiler if they say it right in the beginning:
I cackled!
As long as there was a ridiculously long chase scene I’ll be satisfied.
The car chase scene was one of the best I’ve ever seen.
Did you like it? (Unlike the guys, I fear the movie will be 90% battle scenes.)
I was disappointed. It’s hard to say why without talking about plot points.
Your supposition is correct. There is a lot of fighting in the movie.
I hope to see “Wild” tomorrow with Katie.
