Hungry-hungry

I didn’t eat much for lunch yesterday because I had run out of lunchy things. By the time I got home, I was hungry-hungry. I wanted a burger. The place across the street from my house makes good burgers, but they are small. Would I get two hamburgers? Was I really that insane with hunger?

No. Instead I went to Five Guys. I usually get their small version of a hamburger, because it’s only one meat patty. Last night, I got a regular – two meat patties! Mmm… I also got bacon and cheese because, well, those ingredients taste so good.

It was so good. And it totally hit the spot.

For some reason, it looks super tiny in this picture. It wasn't.

It does look super tiny. Are you actually holding it or about to grab it? Nice delicious optical illusion. Also, are you taking this picture with your mind or a new phone?

I am touching it but not holding it. My hand is in the foreground, so maybe that makes the burger look smaller.

I’m still using my old digital camera. Since I must carry it wherever I go so that I don’t miss a post opportunity, my pockets are bulging more than ever.

HA! “I didn’t eat munch for lunch…” Yesterday I also only brought a Cara Cara orange with me (thank you for enlightening us all about the joys of that fruit BTW – Thurman brought a whole bag home and I eat one/day now!), but there were more than enough carbohydrates (read “baked goods”) in our workroom – every Tuesday being a meeting morning, one of our dear co-workers who loves to bake brings in a pan of calories to share. Not all that nutritious, but it speaks to the happy place in the brain. Thank you, Mrs. S!
