Leaving Knoxville

We started yesterday by worshiping at my old church. As I sat there, I looked at all the old people in the congregation and wondered if I went to school with any of them. Ha! I’m old. I did see a few people I knew. It was fun to walk the building too.

The boy in front of us during church was cute. He followed along with his finger when we read or sang things.

After church, we piled into the car. Tara was a good sport and sat in the way-back while I sat in her seat.

The car trip went really well. I was nervous because the car air conditioner is leaking freon. The cool air kept coming though, and we had a pleasantly cool trip. I read, played iPad games, and watched Rango, Nanny McPhee, and Nanny McPhee Returns. I haven’t been on a long car trip in many years. When you aren’t driving, it’s like sitting around on your couch. Awesome!

Last night we stayed in St. Louis. I haven’t been here in a long time. Hello, St. Louis!

Arch you glad I'm here?

How cool that you got to sit in your old church with family.

You are really seeing a big part of this giant country of ours! Although, this last leg is one that Lloyd and I have traveled so many times, I don’t envy that part. I pray that your trip here is safe and uneventful!

  3. MO Beth ??

I had time at lunch and wanted to read while nibbling and thought of you and your adventures! Thank you for the fine entertainment as it brought me several smiles. I’m all caught up now. And your dad is right about that red clover; it is one of my favorite natural treats. “Arch you glad I’m here?”–teehee.

Beth! Hi! We knew about the clover, so we were eating as we went. It was tasty 🙂
