We had something called Field Day at school yesterday. The kids were all assigned to cross-graded teams named for different colors. They wore the appropriate shirts. We had morning classes as usual, but after lunch, we all went outside and had relay races.
It was beautiful weather!
It was really fun. The kids had a great time. It was a good way to end their week. They don’t have any more classes until Monday. Today and tomorrow are parent/teacher conference days, and Friday our school is hosting all the Lutheran teachers in the Baltimore area for a day of workshops and presentations sponsored by our district.
Ah, a short week. That explains all the fun and shenanigans on a Tuesday. The sky looks like you guys mail-ordered it just for the day!
