Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

A Fall Break

I had recess duty yesterday. It was a cool, misty day, so we spent our time on the pavement. It was so relaxing. There are trees on the parking lot that have such rich red leaves. I loved looking at them.

There were also lots of leaves on the ground. The damp air was heavy with their fragrance. It gave me flashbacks to long ago days of jumping in piles of leaves.

I love Fall.

So lovely.

So lovely.

…and you know the gorgeous sugar maple off Concordia Drive by the parking lot (beneath which I normally try to park my car)? Its girdle scar is pretty large I am finally noticing, and more than one of its branches bore no leaves this year. I fear its days of glorious fall foliage are numbered. ‘Twill be a terrible loss when it goes…’specially if it goes in a storm during the school day and happens to fall on my car, but I digress.

Aww… I’m sad to hear that. That tree was amazing in the fall.

Did you change your website recently? It loads much slower of late.

You remind me of Theoden: “Dark have been my dreams of late”

I haven’t changed any settings here lately. I have been getting an enormous amount of spam in the last month or so… three to four thousand spam comments per day, compared to three or four hundred previously.

Absolutely beautiful. That red is fantastic! There is a brilliant yellow/orange maple tree by the preschool that I’d love to time-lapse. It has just started to lose leaves from the top.

Gorgeous! As I look out my window right now, That’s Just What Our Trees Look Like Too!! God Is Good ALL The Time!!! <3 Aunt Bev 🙂
