Indoor Sparrow

Yesterday morning before church, I was working in my classroom. I stepped out into the hallway and was startled by something darting past me through the air. It was a bird! A sparrow had somehow gotten into the building.

I went looking for it and found it down the hall in a ficus tree. It kept trying to fly away, but kept hitting a window. I felt sorry for it. Then I noticed a smaller window behind the tree. I cranked it open and hoped for the best. It worked! The bird got outside!

The bird was gone by the time I took this picture.

You saved the day! Bless you for taking care of that little bird. It was probably pretty freaked out by the time you got to it, so good timing, you.
