Yesterday while I was at church, I stopped by the staff room to check my mail. My mailbox had this in it:
Frozen, Grumpy Cat, and Angry Birds
Awww… it was so cute. The younger kids brought valentines to school on Thursday and instead of giving them to me, left them in my box. I didn’t get them until yesterday, which was actual Valentine’s Day. What a nice way to celebrate the day. I saved all the candy later. I often have sugar emergencies while I’m at school.
Yes, the stress of Valentine’s Day is only slightly balanced by the candy that they bring to you. The signing of their names is the most adorable. 🙂
One lady that I taught with taped all the valentines she received to a large piece of paper and stuck it on her desk for a week or so. It made a very nice display. (I have never done that.)
I see dear Allison (or is that Alison?) struggled with how one spelled “Royuk”….and I am curious to know more about the Grumpy Cat card. What was awful? Adorable. As you may recall, one doesn’t get many of those cute things in a 6-12 school.
