I felt kind of a sore throat and cough on Monday night. Yesterday morning when I woke up, it was much worse. I was coughing and aching. Lauren came into my room and told me to stay in bed all day. I often take her advice, so I turned over and went back to sleep.
After waking up to visit the restroom, I saw some medicines on the counter. I took one of them and went back to sleep.
I woke up later and had some food, the lay back down again. I read some, slept some, got my highest score ever on ipad pinball, then slept some more.
By the end of the day, I felt better. My cough was still there, but I was less achy. I went to bed early last night. I needed plenty of rest. Today I plan to have an adventure.
“… since I often take her advice…” That’s some real comedy right there, buddy. 🙂 I’m glad you rested, though, and I do hope you feel a bit better today.
We never seem to have the right medicine in the house when it’s needed, yet we never finish a container of medicine. How is that possible? The logic doesn’t check out.
Your pharmacy came to you; I love that. Way to go, Lauren!
Psst – Lauren, what’s hooked up to your faucet?
Gus’ diary, Day 14:
So I read my human is under the proverbial weather – again! What’s with this guy anyway? He seems fastidious in the cleanliness area (if he groomed like most felines I know, he’d suffer from regular hairballs, I’m sure…but I digress) – is the immune system outta wack or what?! Maybe Nebraska has different germs than Maryland?? Anyway, sure hope he feels better soon – rumor has it we have to be “on the road again” soon and he’d better be up to that trip; he knows I can’t drive!
