There must’ve been something unusual about yesterday. A bunch of people called me.
As I was trying to work at school (and not getting much done), I got a phone call from Beth. It was delightful!
No sooner had we hung up, when Denis FaceTimed me. We had a great face-to-face chat. My house is ready to go on the market any day now.
Right as we were finishing our conversation, Brent FaceTimed me. We talked about frustrations and teaching styles and stargazing. Something was wrong with our connection. I couldn’t see him, and he only saw a frozen image of me, but it was still a great conversation. I took a picture this time:
I had only barely hung up with Brent, when Lauren and Lloyd FaceTimed me. Awesome! Samith wasn’t there, but we had a fun conversation anyway.
Needless to say, I didn’t get everything done yesterday. But I would trade all the worktime in the world for time with friends and family.
Ha! I’d apologize for monopolizing your time, but it was pretty fun visiting with you. 😀 I just need to become more of a night owl and call you on a weeknight.
