Orange I Glad?

I used to have a problem buying blankets. I love blankets! I still have a big ol’ stack of them, even though I don’t get to use them very much.

I think I’ve started a new problem – towels! It started with me shopping for new towels to go with my newly-painted bathroom. I bought some coral-colored ones. Coral is currently one of my favorite colors. But in my bathroom, they looked orange. I kept two of them, because I had already washed them.

I also have a small collection of beach towels. I hardly ever go to the beach, but what if I ever do? I have to be prepared!

And then there are the kitchen towels. I really like the linen or cheesecloth kind. Whenever I see them, I think: “Hey! I like this kind of towel!” And then I buy it, even though I have a bunch already.

At the Pumpkin Fest at school, there was a craft room with things for sale. They had kitchen towels.

The proceeds supported scholarship programs. How could I not get it?

I think it’s perfectly fine to have an obsession as long as you are aware of it. Besides, how can towels not be helpful? You can use them as emergency blankets, emergency curtains, emergency rugs, emergency tablecloth, emergency napkins…. I could go on and on, but you don’t need my approval. 🙂 Douglas Adams knew what he was talking about.

Blankets, towels and kitchen towels we have plenty of as well! I counted our kitchen towels one time and i forget exact count, but we have at least 50! It’s awesome! You can always get a new one out! Most are tea towels that my relatives embroidered on….. cute cats with days of the week. And sometimes i even random pick the day that it is!
