Christmas Church

Merry Christmas! Yay!

There were three church services yesterday. I went to the first one because Harold and Beth attend that one. We sat together in the pew.

Lauren was there too, and right before we sang a song called: “Where Shepherds Lately Knelt”, she passed me a tissue and said: “This is from Lloyd”. I laughed out loud. I have never not cried during that song. Ha!

After hanging out at my mom’s house, I went to the next service. I was part of the choir for this service. It was so fun! I sang like crazy! And I cried some more. It was a very full service. I took a picture right at the beginning of communion.

After that, back to Mom’s house for more hang-out time and some chili. Lauren joined us. Then we all went to the late service. It was less-attended, but I liked the late-night feel. Very Christmasy. I cried some more. I was loving that I was wearing a tie. I took a picture:

Ugh. I cried, too, and I am not a fan of tears. Lloyd, if you read this, you’ll be glad to know I chewed out Joe Herl for writing such beautiful music for the shepherd’s song. I also told him you’d send your chapel message to his so he could read your funny words. I’ll need those, too.

It was a very nice Christmas Eve, and I’m glad you’re here, Brad! 🙂
