Interesting Travel

Leaving the Kahului airport yesterday, I had to fill out a form and sign a bunch of things saying I understood what Hawaii’s current 14-day quarantine requirements were. It was for nothing, because I didn’t stay on Oahu, but I wasn’t going to argue.

I got to Honolulu and realized I had forgotten my phone charge cable. Dang. The only two open stores I saw were a Starbucks and a Burger King. But then I saw one of those electronics vending machines. I’ve never used one of those before! How fun! My charge cable was $18. Dang.

My flight to LA was surprisingly full. We all wore masks the whole time, only lowering them to eat. The flight itself was pretty smooth, so that was good.

The ride to Denis’ house was interesting. The streets were deserted. There was a curfew in place because of rioting and looting. None of the affected areas are near Denis’ place, so that’s good.

Wow – you are starring in your own movie! (I was going to say ‘post-apocalyptic’, but it’s more apocalyptic? Pre-apocalyptic? Poorly written and produced?)

I’m so glad your flight was smooth! One good thing to come out of this. Now go charge the heck out of your phone!
