Yesterday was a day of shopping. Denis’ apartment complex had the water shut down from 9 to 5 for plumbing repairs, so we were out and about for most of the day.
On my list was curtains and shoes. I didn’t find any curtains, but I did find shoes. I thought I would get hiking shoes again, for comfort. But I got some regular shoes instead. I also got some insoles (for comfort).
Denis had a few things on his list too. Something I put on his list was a hummingbird feeder. I got bird seed last time I was here, and though I was initially disappointed because there was only a squirrel, there are now house finches coming to eat the seeds. Woo hoo!
I have seen hummingbirds come to the tree beneath the balcony. Now there is a feeder with sugar water in it. Let the hummingbirds commence!
What a successful day! Those shoes look very sophisticated, especially for Maui.
