Somewhere along the way, my taste in bananas changed. I used to like older bananas. The older they are, the sweeter they are, and sweet is good.
But lately, I’ve started liking bananas that are a little green. I like when the texture isn’t as mushy. And I kind of like the tartness of a slightly green banana.
When I went grocery shopping yesterday, I bought full-on green bananas. This way, I’ll be able to start eating them while they’re still too green, and then by the time I get to the last ones, they’ll be just right. Yum!
Those are so green!!
People do have definite banana preferences. How interesting that yours have changed! I’m not a big fan of bananas in general, but the two-minute window after they have turned from green to yellow is when I think they’re pretty good.
