Sowing Seeds

I did a little gardening on Monday afternoon. I didn’t post about it because I didn’t think I’d have much to say about yesterday. It ended up being a busy day at school, then I a committee meeting in the evening. I didn’t take any pictures, so here’s Monday’s gardening:

There is a small patch of open ground at the base of the wall in my back yard. I decided I would plant moss rose there. I put a little top soil down to give the seeds some good soil to grow in.

And then I planted a LOT of seeds. Regular packets of moss rose seeds have what seem to be only a few specks inside. I mail-ordered two ounces of seeds. It may not sound like a lot, but it is a LOT.

That’s a great idea. Moss roses will look lovely there.

That is a heckuva brick wall/fence, and now it will have the Brad Touch with some lovely greenery. 🙂

You will have an explosion of Moss roses! You may never have to plant them again. They often drop seeds that grow the next spring in the pots by our pool.
