Yesterday was a work day at school. It was hard.
One of the things I did was to send some church-related emails. A reply from a Concordia Irvine professor ended this way:
“I appreciate you” I don’t know if he often ends his emails like this, but it hit me hard. Small acts of kindness really have a big impact sometimes…
Is he from Arkansas? When we lived there I noticed many cashiers would end our transaction with “I appreciate ya!” (Read that with and Arkansan accent, please.) I agree – it is a lovely sentiment.
Maybe Kristie has observed the same thing?
