Rainy Retail

It’s raining here this weekend – such a blessing to be getting some moisture. It seemed like a great rainy day activity to go to the mall, where I could walk around a little and people-watch.

I stopped in a few shops. One of them was a clothing place I like to browse. It has some interesting clothes in it. Before Christmas I had been in this place, and seen a shirt that was fuzzy and shiny at the same time. I liked it, and thought maybe I could wear it like a jacket, but it was $70. Yikes! No thank you.

Yesterday there was some kind of sale going on. Everything in the store was marked down like crazy. I looked for the shirt out of curiosity. They had one. It was $20. That’s still a lot for a shirt, but if I think of it as a jacket, that’s actually pretty good. I got it.

Honestly, I don’t know if I’ll wear it in public. But maybe I can wear it around the house. It’s so soft.

Gotta love a good sale, especially when it covers something you’ve already seen, liked, would never pay full price for and don’t really “need” but, heck, you’re worth it.

    Enjoy your new find!

Is that velour? I had a velour shirt when I was a kid – my most favorite shirt ever. That looks very soft indeed!
