As I was leaving home for church, there was another spectacular sunrise:
There was a big storm on its way. The news outlets have made sure everyone is panicking about it. I’m always glad when the news tells us how to feel about things. (he said sarcastically)
In the evening as the sun was setting, the rain started, and at 7:28pm, the warning came:
I wonder if schools ever cancel for rain here. I haven’t had a snow day in so long. A “rain day” would be nice…
Zoinks. I just went to explore the internet about your rain, and you’re not kidding – that’s a bunch of rain. It would be nice to have a rain day, but I’m going to guess…… no?
(Sorry about the news people. They literally have nothing better to do.)
National news does indeed paint a grim picture of things out your way. Know that you will be in our prayers…if only for that rain day you so desire.
